An open records request has been submitted to both the City of Covington and Newton County Board of Commissioners, requesting details of any Flock contracts/agreements made at the City or County level. As documents are received, they will be added here.
City of Covington, GA
The City Council in Covington, GA voted unanimously to approve a 3-year contract with Flock, for integration of security cameras, on December 15, 2025. Discussion about similar cameras and systems pre-date the contract approval.

Newton County, GA
The Newton County Sheriff’s Office has implemented Flock cameras in the county (and very likely using other vendors as well). So far, we’ve found references to purchasing/installation of flock cameras in the following:
